Now, I may not have paid too much attention back in school, however I did enjoy History class. It is very interesting
to learn of the events that happened before our time and the events that have brought us to where we are today. Lately I seem
to be recalling a time in history it seems more and more. A time when our forefathers and founders, were under such strain
and pressure as a result of being taken advantage of, that they had no other choice than to
"TAKE A STAND."
As I recall it: To keep short and simple, The British - Way back in the day, were ruling over the Americans and telling
them what and how to do things as well as taking their money in taxes. They (The British) decided they could get even more
money in taxes on one particular item that the Americans were using. Do you know what that was? If you said Tea, then chances
are you know the story.
"THE BOSTON TEA PARTY"
A time when, some
folks like you and me got together and threw all of the tea off of the ships in the harbor into the ocean, to spark
what came to be the beginning of the New America.
It is time for the Citizens of the United States of America to
"TAKE A STAND NOW"
We need to Stand up against the rising cost of gas now before it is too late. If they continue raising the price
of gas, how long will your savings hold out? Can you remember what the price of gas was per gallon before the war? May 9,
2001, the average priceper gal was$1.78 aftera jumpof $ .08 early that day. What is the war really all about, and what
has really changed since before the start of this war? The only thing I can think of that is really different now
is, there is a major American company that is benefitting from all of this mess. Think something's wrong
with this equation?
Now I ask you, who else would benefit from all of this?
How do you like your SUV now?
Are you thinking more about buying a new hybrid Car?
If we all stop buying Gas they will bring down the price. However we all have to stop buying it now and for a period
of time as needed to shut them down and they really feel it. Who is they you might ask?
Well, I will leave that to you to decide, but let me ask you this America, where is your President and how
do you like him now?
